Life in the Cloud

As we have seen in the past few years, cloud computing is becoming an ever popular alternative for affordable data storage and outsourced computing and based on the money being invested in cloud computing, it seems like this is a trend that’s here to stay. I came across this article that provides an interesting perspective on the global level in which cloud computing is rising (to the tune of a $1.2 billion expense soon to be shelled out by IBM to expand cloud services). Services from the cloud should always be considered when looking for cost efficient and effective information technology alternatives.
