GBQ is excited to announced that Brian Bornino, CPA/ABV, CFA, CBA, Director of Valuation Services, will be speaking at the AICPA’s National Forensic & Valuation Services Conference next month in Las Vegas. Bornino will present the session titled “ESOP Valuations: The Basics and Beyond” on Sunday, November 2, 2013.
The session will discuss many aspects of ESOPs and the valuation of ESOP shares. Bornino will discuss ESOPs in general (including a discussion of their pros and cons and the regulatory environment), provide an overview of ESOP valuations, and analyze the nuances of ESOP valuations that make them unique and challenging. The session will also discuss the role that CPA valuators can play in the ESOP valuation market.
