GBQ is pleased to announce that Wade Kozich, CPA, CM&AA, has joined the community of Certified Exit Planning Advisors (CEPA).
The Certified Exit Planning Advisor program was created in 2007 and was specifically designed for business advisors who work closely with owners of privately-held companies. This special group of advisors helps business owners exit their companies while achieving all of their personal, business and financial goals. Using an executive MBA style format, the program is designed around a central case study and uses a combination of lectures, group discussions, case studies and individual exercises to introduce participants to concepts and to reinforce skills. The program is taught by the Exit Planning Institute’s dedicated faculty made up of thirteen different instructors from around the world who are sought after subject matter experts and authors. To receive the CEPA designation, Kozich completed a rigorous 5 day program that involved approximately 100 hours of pre-course study, 33 hours of class room instruction, and successful completion of a 3.5 hour proctored examination.
As Director of Transaction Advisory Services at GBQ, Wade has developed his role to provide the right service for any situation. Throughout his career, he has had experiences as a chief financial advisor on transactions, as well as with succession planning, corporate reorganizations, sourcing and coordination with investment bankers, corporate financing and restructuring, structuring and modeling liquidity options, helping clients prepare for liquidity events and dealing with troubled company situations.
