Allied Construction Industries (ACI)

Allied Construction Industries (ACI) is a not-for-profit trade association in Cincinnati, Ohio, with approximately 500 member companies that focus on delivering workforce solutions that solve talent challenges, engage industry advocacy to create a climate of growth, and provide networking opportunities. Members include union and open shop employers, including service providers, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, developers, and material suppliers to the commercial construction industry. ACI serves as an umbrella organization to twelve partnership associations and is also the Cincinnati division of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Ohio.

American Subcontractors Association (ASA) 

GBQ is a member of the American Subcontractors Association (ASA). Headquartered in Alexandria, VA, ASA promotes the rights and interests of subcontractors, specialty contractors and suppliers by building strength in community through education, advocacy, networking and professional growth. ASA adheres to and promotes quality construction, ethical and equitable business practices, safety in the work environment, and best industry practices.

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) 

GBQ is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). Associated Builders and Contractors was founded in 1950 in Baltimore, MD and is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 22,000 members. ABC and its 68 Chapters help members develop people, win work and deliver that work safely, ethically and profitably for the betterment of the communities in which ABC and its members work. ABC’s activities include government representation, legal advocacy, education, workforce development, communications, technology, recognition through national and chapter awards programs, employee benefits, information on best practices, and business development through an online contractor search directory.

The Associated General Contractors (AGC) 

GBQ is a member of The Associated General Contractors (AGC). Headquartered in Arlington, VA, AGC is one of the leading associations for the construction industry. AGC represents more than 27,000 firms through a nationwide network of chapters. Operating in partnership with its Chapters, the Association provides a full range of services satisfying the needs and concerns of its members, thereby improving the quality of construction and protecting the public interest.

The Construction Accounting Network is a nationwide association of independent Certified Public Accounting and Advisory Firms, comprised of independent members of the BDO Alliance USA. The Builder Exchange of Central Ohio (BX)

GBQ is a member of The Builder Exchange of Central Ohio (BX). BX was founded in 1892 due to the need for communication information among construction specialties. Today, there are nearly 650 member firms, including accountants, architects, engineers, contractors, attorneys, insurance and bonding agents, etc. BX advances the commercial construction industry as the resource for communication, education, services and recognition.

NAIOP is one of the leading organizations for developers, owners and related professionals in office, industrial and real estate. NAIOP comprises 20,000+ members in North America and advocates responsible commercial real estate development and advocates for effective public policy.

Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) 

GBQ is a member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). CFMA was founded in 1981 and is the source and resource for construction financial excellence and the only nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the educational needs of today’s construction financial professionals. General Members include general contractors, specialty trades, developers, construction managers, architects, engineers, principals, and material and equipment suppliers. Associate Members include professionals in the accounting, insurance, surety, technology, legal, and banking industries, or any other specialty in the construction industry.

Construction Industry CPAs/Consultants Association (CICPAC)

GBQ is a member of the Construction Industry CPAs/Consultants Association (CICPAC). This national organization, headquartered in Chicago, IL, is comprised of CPA firms that have significant practices in the construction industry. Many of the firms who are members of this group also provide valuable input into the various bodies of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, which sets accounting policies for the construction industry. Only one firm may represent CICPAC in each member city, and GBQ met the standards to be the sole representative for CICPAC in Franklin and several surrounding counties. It’s our job to ensure we stay connected to the latest trends and issues your industry faces.

National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP) 

GBQ is a member of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP). NASBP was founded in 1942 and specializes in providing surety bonds for construction contracts and other purposes to companies and individuals needing the assurance offered by surety bonds.

The Ohio Contractors Association (OCA) 

GBQ is a member of The Ohio Contractors Association (OCA). OCA has been serving Ohio’s Heavy/Highway Industry since 1918. OCA represents over 500 active and associate members from across the State of Ohio to construct and supply the materials and services needed to construct the highways, bridges, utilities and building sites.

Surety Association of Central Ohio (SAO) 

GBQ is a member of the Surety Association of Central Ohio. The Surety Association of Ohio is comprised of a community of professionals whose primary function is to educate both its members and the general public about surety and the protections afforded by it, monitor legislation that could potentially impact surety, as well as provide a forum for our members to learn about pertinent information that may affect the marketplace on a statewide basis.
