You’ve heard about ESOPs and you are intrigued, but now you really want to know if an ESOP makes sense for your company. The answer may be an ESOP feasibility study.

This presentation is designed for business owners considering a sale to their employees through an ESOP. Attendees will receive a concise overview of ESOPs and their advantages, while taking a deep-dive into the key elements of an ESOP feasibility study, including:

  • Valuation
  • Financing
  • Management succession/corporate governance with an ESOP
  • Benefits to selling shareholders, management and employees
  • Typical ESOP transaction structures, timelines and costs

Case studies of successful transitions to employee ownership through an ESOP will also be discussed.

This course qualifies for 1.5 hours of CPE.
