Rebekah Smith, Director of Forensic and Dispute Advisory Services at GBQ, recently spoke to a group of about 25 judges from across the country at the National Judicial College’s seminar on Complex Commercial Litigation in San Antonio, Texas. This course is designed to teach judges the key issues that must be understood when presiding over a complex commercial case, from case management strategies to forensic audits.

Rebekah spoke about economic damages and business valuation and was able to have an interactive discussion with judges regarding what they need from expert witnesses and what experts need from the judges. Through this experience, Rebekah was able to gain invaluable insight into how judges perceive expert witnesses.
