As a state and local tax expert, Dave has a history of assisting companies in successfully navigating the complex and challenging state and local tax waters, ensuring compliance and optimizing results.
Dave joined GBQ in 2022 with 33 years of tax experience, including overseeing the sales/use tax, real and personal property tax, Ohio Commercial Activity Tax (CAT), and tax incentive negotiations for several Procter & Gamble (P&G) locations throughout the United States. Before joining P&G, Dave was the State & Local Tax Practice leader for several local accounting firms and served as State & Local Tax Practice Principal for two Big 4 accounting firms.
Dave is a member of the American Institute of the Certified Public Accounts (AICPA), The Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA), and the Institute of Professionals in Taxation, where he served on multiple committees. Additionally, Dave is a recognized industry thought leader, serving as a frequent speaker for tax organizations, including the Dayton chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), the Tax Executives Institute (TEI), the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT) and the Ohio Tax Conference.
Dave received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
