Julie joins GBQ with more than a decade of industry experience, specializing in estate, gift and trust taxation, as well as real estate taxation. Julie has guided clients through complex estate planning and analysis for family businesses, managed federal and state estate and fiduciary returns, and expertly handled federal and state gift returns, focusing on trust fundings and applicable Generation Skipping Transfer (GST) tax. With a specialization extending to real estate taxation, Julie is uniquely positioned to empower growth of GBQ’s tax practice. She excels at assisting with property development project setup and costing, as well as 1031 exchanges for qualification, reporting and analysis.

Julie’s membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama and Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants reflects her unwavering dedication to the accounting industry.
