The team at GBQ recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting everyone. Our top priority is to take care of our clients and our team through these uncertain times.

Many of our team members have been working remotely for the last two weeks with no interruption in client service. Effective at 5:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2020, GBQ will close its physical office locations and move to a fully remote operation through April 30, 2020. We will re-evaluate that timeline as we monitor the situation. Governor DeWine has been widely recognized as a leader in the effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus with significant action steps in Ohio to “flatten the curve.” In his daily press conference, he requested that all businesses with the capabilities to move to a remote work environment should do so immediately.

GBQ has all of the technology required to enable every member of our team to work seamlessly from remote locations. We will continue to be fully available to you and focused on supporting your needs. Our ability to be responsive by phone will be uninterrupted, including incoming calls to our main office numbers and calls to our direct lines, which will be forwarded to our cell phones.

During this time of year, the coordination of documents required to perform our services is crucial. We encourage you to send documents electronically to help protect you from risk. We use ShareFile, which allows you to upload documents securely. In the event that you are unable to send documents electronically or simply prefer to provide us with physical documents, we will make appropriate arrangements with you. Please contact a member of your service team for assistance related to document transfer.

We know you are dealing with many challenges. GBQ has created a COVID-19 business checklist to assist you in thinking proactively about a variety of financial and operational matters. We are posting updates and content to our dedicated web resource on a regular basis, and we will stay in touch via “breaking news” alerts to call your attention to key legislation and resources.

Please let us know what you need. We understand that making important decisions in fast-changing, unfamiliar circumstances can be overwhelming. We also understand the pressure that many of you feel to provide for your associates and your families. We are here to provide support and advice — or simply an empathetic ear.

On behalf of the GBQ team, thank you for your patience as we all manage through this crisis. We commit that we will extend that same patience to you. We wish you, your families and your team good health.
