Ashbrook, Boston, and Perrill Promoted To Partner At GBQ
GBQ Partners LLC (GBQ), a Top 100 tax, accounting and consulting firm, has announced the promotion of Mallory Ashbrook, CPA, CVA, JD, MAFF, director, forensic and dispute advisory services; Steve Boston, CPA, CISA, CITP, director, IT assurance and business advisory services; Tobin Perrill, CPA, director, assurance and business advisory services, to partner.

Since joining GBQ in 2014, Ashbrook has been instrumental in the ongoing growth and direction of the firm’s forensic and dispute advisory services practice. A certified public accountant and attorney with experience in litigation, business valuation, and fraud-related services, Mallory’s holistic approach to client service represents the core values GBQ strives to demonstrate as a firm.
A leader and technical resource at GBQ, Boston serves the firm by providing financial, technology assurance, and consulting services to clients across various industries, including software and technology, retail, restaurants, financial institutions, and manufacturing. While much of his time is spent being responsible for system and organization control (SOC) examinations, data analytics, business intelligence, process automation engagements, and IT audits, he also has extensive experience in financial statement and employee benefit plan audits, as well as technical accounting matters.
Since joining GBQ in 2012, Perrill has served clients across the nonprofit, service, manufacturing, restaurant, technology, and distribution industries, particularly those in the privately held and middle-market sectors. In this role, he frequently leads training courses and speaks on new or complex accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirement topics.
