She will be based in the firm’s Columbus office, but will advise clients across GBQ’s offices in Columbus, Cincinnati, Toledo and international markets.

Brook brings more than 25 years of experience advising complex organizations, business owners, and families on tax strategy, financial decision-making, and risk management. Known for her ability to simplify complex tax and financial issues, she helps leaders make informed decisions that support sustainable growth and long-term success.
In addition to her client advisory work, Brook is committed to developing people and strengthening professional teams. She has led firm-wide training initiatives, mentored professionals at all career stages, and helped build scalable learning and leadership frameworks that translate technical expertise into real-world impact.
Brook advises closely held businesses and their families, partnering closely with legal and financial advisors to align tax strategy with broader business and personal goals. Her collaborative, practical approach reflects her belief that strong outcomes are achieved through clarity, trust, and thoughtful planning.
Brook earned her Bachelor of Science in Business, Accountancy/Finance (Summa Cum Laude) from Wright State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio. She is an active member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Ohio Society of CPAs, and has demonstrated community leadership as Past President of Kaleidoscope Youth Center.
