Sara Robertson, Director of Marketing, has been selected to join the Class of 2018 for Leadership Columbus whose mission is to develop, connect and inspire diverse leaders who serve as catalysts in building a strong and vibrant community. The program shapes future community leaders and counts nearly 2,800 graduates of various business sectors in its core 10-month signature program since its founding in 1974.
A graduate of Miami University, Sara joined GBQ in 2004 after working as a marketing coordinator at the Ohio Restaurant Association. Sara leads GBQ’s marketing team, overseeing all marketing strategy for the firm’s six office locations. Since joining GBQ, Sara has led the firm’s vision for growth by overseeing and executing corporate identity programs, public relations, events, advertising, social media, CRM, digital and print campaigns.
She is a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) where she served a four year board term. Sara is the Chair Emeritus of the March of Dimes of Central Ohio Women’s Board. She has also been active with COSI, where she served on the FOC Board for eight years and helped found and chair the COSI Young Professional Executive Board. Sara is currently serving a three year term on COSI’s Community Board. Recently, she has sat on marketing and branding committees for COSI, the Women’s Fund of Central Ohio and the Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority.
In 2015, Sara was recognized by Columbus Business First as one of Columbus’ Forty Under Forty. Additionally, she was named a “YP to Know” in central Ohio by the Columbus Young Professionals Club in 2013.
