Sam joined GBQ in 2010 after obtaining her Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University. She began her career in the firm’s Assurance department, serving clients in a variety of industries, including nonprofit, manufacturing, restaurant, and service industries. In addition to providing several assurance services, Sam was particularly focused on assisting clients with internal controls and fraud risk assessments. Additionally, she was part of the employee benefit plan audit group, managing audits for defined contribution plans, including 403(b) plans and ESOPs, as well as defined benefit plans.
In 2016, Sam transitioned her career and joined GBQ’s internal finance department. She has since focused her efforts on working capital management, the implementation of new processes and controls, and financial reporting.
