Scott joined GBQ in 2009 and has served clients in a wide range of industries. He has managed the tax return and planning process for C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, nonprofits, trusts and individuals of all sizes.
Scott leads the Private Client Services practice at GBQ and works extensively with high-net-worth individuals, their families and closely-held businesses. Scott received his Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2011 and has deep expertise in the areas of multigenerational family wealth and tax planning, executive compensation and gift and estate tax planning. He also received the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS™) designation in 2016, established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for CPAs who specialize in various areas of financial planning.
Additionally, Scott is actively involved in the community. He served as Treasurer of the Financial Planning Association of Central Ohio from 2013-2015, and also volunteers in a weekly school-based mentoring program with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio.
