GBQ is pleased to announce that Jeff Waldeck, CPA, Director, Tax & Business Advisory Services, has been named a partner within the firm.
“Jeff is a Columbus native that we have enjoyed watching grow from the first day he stepped into GBQ straight out of college. His technical skills have allowed him to differentiate himself and contribute to being a leader in our specialty tax services group. We are excited about Jeff’s promotion to partner and celebrate this achievement,” stated Tim Schlotterer, Director of Tax Services.
Following graduation from Miami University in 2008, Jeff began his professional career with GBQ, serving clients in several industries, including technology, manufacturing, professional services and wholesale distribution. As a leader of the firm’s Specialty Tax Service practice, Jeff works with clients to capture federal and state research and development tax credits and assists with the tax treatment of tangible property. He has significant experience with pass-through entities as well as corporate taxation. In particular, he has provided tax compliance and consulting services to assist clients in navigating the ever-changing tax landscape based on their specific circumstances.
Jeff serves as a member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
