The Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) is one of the most significant areas in compliance at financial institutions. It is also one of the few areas where Board training is actually required by regulation. Our presenter, Karen Janota is a certified Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Specialist (BSACS) and will focus on:

  • BSA Compliance Program Requirements

  • CTR Exemptions
  • Suspicious Activity Reporting
  • Monetary Instrument Recordkeeping
  • Funds Transfer Recordkeeping
  • Information Sharing
  • Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
  • Penalties for Non-Compliance
