Since 2005, Columbus Business First has accepted nominations for the region’s original and longest-running awards program designed to recognize companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company culture. GBQ joins 44 other honorees who were selected based on the quality of employee responses to an independent survey conducted by Quantum Workplace, a provider of employee engagement studies for some of the country’s best-known corporations. Best Places to Work companies are ranked among five workforce categories: extra large companies with at least 250 local employees; large companies with 100 to 249 local employees; medium companies with 50 to 99 local employees; small companies with between 25 and 49 local employees; and micro companies with 10 to 24 local employees. GBQ placed 8th in the large company category.
