GBQ Partners LLC (GBQ) is pleased to announce that Kevin VerHoef, CPA, has been promoted to Assurance Senior Manager. Kevin is based in our Columbus office.
Kevin joined GBQ in 2014, following graduation from The Ohio State University. He oversees audits, reviews, and agreed-upon procedures engagements for clients in various industries, including advanced manufacturing and distribution, professional services and nonprofits. He also supports the firm’s Asset Management and ERISA Retirement Plan practices.
“Kevin is a key contributor to GBQ and has developed significant expertise leading Japanese automotive supplier audits and providing services in the investment fund space,” added Assurance Partner Mary Stucke. “He has impacted our assurance practice and will continue to enhance our ability to empower growth. We are very excited to recognize and celebrate Kevin’s accomplishments at the firm with his promotion to Senior Manager.”
Kevin has led GBQ’s philanthropic efforts to support Pelotonia for the past six years, helping raise over $386,000 to fund cancer research. Outside of the firm, Kevin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
