Earlier this month, GBQ announced that Rebekah Smith, CPA, CFF, CVA, MAFF, Director of Forensic and Dispute Advisory Services, is now a Partner in the Firm.

Rebekah joined the firm in 2003 and has over 18 years of experience focusing on the areas of litigation consulting, forensic accounting, economic damages, and business valuations. You can read more about Rebekah and her ‘road to partner’ here.

If you missed GBQ’s formal announcement, check out LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, e-mail announcement, Bottomline, INSIDE Public Accounting, the Columbus Chamber, Accounting Today, Columbus Business First, BV Wire or Columbus City & Press. We’ve got something for everyone… really.

If I get a vote, The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants‘ “Partner in Progress” interview with Rebekah is the best coverage. The OSCPA really captured the essence GBQ and Rebekah. If you haven’t seen it, check out the article and Rebekah’s thoughts on retention, advancing women & learning from younger staff.

Pretty exciting stuff (Rebekah’s promotion brings GBQ’s female partner count to two – did I mention our Managing Director is also a girl?! #girlpower). Congrats, Rebekah, well deserved. Make us proud!
