One of the great things about my job is that I get to brag about GBQ (a lot! #sorrynotsorry). Most of the time it’s about an award or just how great everyone is, but today is different. Today, I am bragging about something a little more serious…a PCAOB report with no findings.

Ok, so some of you are asking, “What?!” Here’s a quick lesson (from the Marketing Director)…

The PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board) is the agency designated by Congress to regulate auditors of SEC issuers. Under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the PCAOB is required to conduct a program of inspections of registered public accounting firms based on review of selected audit engagements.  GBQ recently completed our tri-annual inspection by a team from the PCAOB and the report issued October 2, 2014, on the results of that inspection contains no findings and can be accessed at http://pcaobus.org/Inspections/Reports/Pages/default.aspx.

Needless to say, this is a pretty big deal. Not everyone can claim this. I think Congratulations are in order. Who knows, maybe I’ll even buy Paul a drink next time I see him?!
