GBQ is pleased to announce that Darci L. Congrove, CPA, Managing Director, has been selected by the Columbus Women’s Commission to serve as a panelist alongside First Lady Shannon Ginther and fellow adopters of The Columbus Commitment: Achieving Pay Equity.
In 2016, The Columbus Women’s Commission was created to help dismantle barriers and reduce gender based inequities to improve the economic position of all women in the Columbus community. Focusing on the issue of gender pay gap, The Columbus Commitment: Achieving Pay Equity was created; a voluntary, employer-led initiative asking companies and organizations to commit to learn about the gender pay gap; understand how race and other factors create even larger disparities; and take action to build awareness of the unique challenges facing women in the workplace. GBQ is proud to be among the 100 early adopters of this pledge.
Darci joined GBQ in 1998 and became a Partner in the firm in 2003. In 2010, Darci was elected Managing Director. Prior to joining GBQ in 1998, Darci worked in the tax practices of two regional firms. Her client base is focused primarily on closely-held businesses and their owners, and real estate companies, for all of whom she performs a wide range of tax planning and compliance services, as well as general business consulting.
Darci is actively involved in the community and serves as board chair of the Columbus-Franklin County Finance Authority and board member of the Columbus Chamber of Commerce. She is also the past board chair for the Women’s Fund of Central Ohio.
Darci frequently speaks in the community on topics of tax, wealth planning and business management issues
