Beginning in April 2020, individuals began to receive from the IRS their Economic Impact Payments authorized by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). This Act provides for Economic Impact Payments of up to $1,200 per adult. However, higher income individuals with income above certain thresholds may receive a reduced payment or no payment at all. |
