GBQ is pleased to announce that Scott Eichar, CPA, CFP, PFS, Director, Tax & Business Advisory Services, has been named a partner within the firm.
“Scott came to GBQ directly out of college. He has had a fast path to partner due to his strong work ethic and drive to succeed. As a leader of our Private Client Services practice, Scott is a role model for our team in how to empower growth and provide value to our clients,” stated Tim Schlotterer, Director of Tax Services.
Scott began his professional career with GBQ in 2009 following graduation from Liberty University. He leads the Private Client Services practice at GBQ, working extensively with high-net-worth individuals, their families, and closely-held businesses. Scott received the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2011 and has deep expertise in multigenerational family wealth and tax planning, executive compensation, and gift and estate tax planning. He also received the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS™) designation in 2016, established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for CPAs who specialize in various areas of financial planning.
Scott serves as a member of The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a former member of the Financial Planning Association of Central Ohio, where he held the position of treasurer.
