GBQ Partners LLC (GBQ) is honored to be recognized for our commitment to the central Ohio community by being named a recipient of the 13th Annual Medical Mutual Pillar Award for Community Service.
Presented by Smart Business, this accolade was introduced in 1998 to honor businesses of all types and sizes that make outstanding contributions to their community.
While GBQ has changed in size and scope since its inception in 1953, what has not changed is our culture and firmwide commitment of empowering growth of our people, our communities and our clients’ businesses; when our people flourish, communities thrive and business grows. Through the firm’s “Committed to Community” initiative, associates are provided the time to volunteer at various charitable organizations, including company-organized sessions, to further encourage and promote their philanthropic efforts. Additionally, GBQ implemented a sponsorship/contribution process where associates, regardless of level, submit support requests for an organization they are involved with and feel passionate about. Each year, GBQ’s employees contribute considerable time and money to more than 100 nonprofits.
GBQ Managing Director Darci Congrove shared, “We invest in our community at all levels of our organization, and we strive to provide an environment that encourages a healthy life balance, which includes service to others. We are proud of our team for their effort to make a difference in the lives of others.”
