This event is part of a national series of events on Opportunity Zones designed to provide comprehensive information and updates. This event will feature presentations and panels addressing key issues to help investors maximize their return on investment, identify the associated legal and tax issues and create connections to cultivate new opportunities. The event is ideal for fund managers, investors, developers, and attorneys/accountants, and provides focused content on facilitating Opportunity Zone funds.

BISNOW – LA Opportunity Zones

The event will be held on August 13, 2019, at the Los Angeles Grand Hotel downtown. The cost of a general admission ticket is $99.

This regional event is designed to tackle Opportunity Zones from a policy perspective, regional impact and community development viewpoint. Key topics to be addressed include important aspects of the regulations and how California will interpret the program, how investors are interacting with Opportunity Zones and how these zones can be used to benefit California residents. The event provides a comprehensive view of the Opportunity Zone investment opportunity.

September 2019 Events

Global St Adapt: Opportunity Zones

The event will be held from September 16th – 17th, 2019, at the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore. The cost of a general admission ticket is $595.

The purpose of this event is to educate, connect and celebrate the investors, developers and property owners with the people behind the scenes, including consultants, architects, and government officials. There will be workshops on how to work with local governments, networking functions, and project specific roundtables. Unique to this event is a property tour of a redeveloped building/area followed by a question/answer session.

IMN Opportunity Zones – Midwest

The event will be held on September 19, 2019, at Convene in downtown Chicago. The cost of general admission varies for property owners starting at $995, early bird registration at $1,395 to the standard registration cost of $1,695.

The event features a robust line up of speakers focusing on virtually every aspect of Opportunity Zones and related investments. The agenda includes a keynote presentation by Anthony Scaramucci of SkyBridge Capital and break out sessions on what’s driving Opportunity Zone growth, investment in operating businesses, tax and technical update, an investment primer for family offices and finally, how to engage communities and local government.

November 2019 Events

IMN Opportunity Zones Forum (West)

This event will be held on November 12, 2019, in Los Angeles, at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza. The cost of a general admission ticket ranges from $995 for property owners to $1,695 for standard registration.

While the event agenda is still being refined, it is designed for professionals touching all aspects of Opportunity Zones. This includes commercial real estate developers, real estate private equity funds, institutional investors, high net worth individuals and government officials. The one-day event will provide an update on IRS guidance, reveal investment opportunities and process, as well as review optimal fund structures and partnership models. Beyond this, there will be ample networking events and opportunities.
