GBQ is pleased to announce that Mallory Ashbrook, CPA, CVA, JD, Manager, Forensic & Dispute Advisory Services, has been named a member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) Standards Board.
Headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT, NACVA is a global, professional association that delivers training from the nation’s leading experts in consulting fields, including business valuation, financial litigation forensics, expert witnessing, forensic accounting, mergers and acquisitions, and risk fraud management. “The Standards Board provides the Association with critical guidance and important oversight,” said NACVA’s Chief Executive Officer Parnell Black, MBA, CPA, CVA. “We are very pleased that Mallory has agreed to join the Board, share her insight with us, and help the Association as we assist thousands of members in keeping up with the demand of the profession and obtaining the necessary training, certification, and credibility so they grow and thrive in their practice, while maintaining the highest of standards, and strengthen brands.”
Mallory joined GBQ in 2014 with experience in litigation, business valuation and fraud-related services. She continues to lead a wide variety of valuation and economic damages engagements for numerous purposes including commercial litigation, family law, and fraud matters. Mallory is responsible for assessing the facts of each particular case, determining the best course of action, performing the financial analysis, and writing reports for the clients and/or courts, as necessary.
Additionally, Mallory is a member of the American Bar Association, The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Columbus Young Professionals Group. She serves as president of the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Franklin County (CASA) and is a member of the COSI Young Professional Board.
