Recognized as a Community Champion, honorees in this category have successful private-sector careers while donating significant time, energy and resources to a cause that benefits the community.
For more than four years, Columbus Business First has regularly featured the most powerful female business leaders in Central Ohio on its Women of Influence podcast. This year, the award program received a total of 126 nominations, honoring a group of 27 remarkable and deserving women across seven different categories. Award winners were celebrated on Wednesday, July 12th, during a cocktail reception at the Westin Great Southern Hotel in downtown Columbus.

Darci Congrove joined GBQ in 1998, was promoted to Partner in 2003, and in 2010, was elected Managing Director. While Darci’s previous experience included working within the tax practices of two regional firms, her client base has been focused on partnerships and LLCs for most of her career. Under Darci’s leadership and guidance,
GBQ continues to evolve, expanding through acquisitions and joint ventures, answering clients’ needs by adding niche services and broadening its community engagement efforts.
