Tom Powers joined GBQ in August 2009. Prior to joining GBQ, Tom was at Ernst & Young, LLP for 21 years, serving as an assurance and advisory business services partner for the last seven years in the Columbus office. A graduate of Ohio Northern University, Tom has lived and worked in the Columbus area since 1990.
During his career, Tom has served start-up entities, emerging and middle market privately owned companies, private equity owned businesses and small to large global public companies. At GBQ, Tom serves clients in the automotive, retail and restaurant, software and technology, real estate and consumer and industrial products and for-profit healthcare sectors.
In addition to his experience in providing assurance services, Tom has been a leader of GBQ’s Transaction Advisory Services and has over 10 years of experience in providing financial due diligence and quality of earnings services.
Tom formerly served as the Executive Board Member and Treasurer for the Arthritis Foundation of Central Ohio and is a former President of the Dublin Jerome Boosters group.
