At an early age, Jerod Brennen realized the power and impact stories have on individuals and relationships. That’s why, whether he’s writing short scripts or teaching LinkedIn Learning courses, he looks for every opportunity to consume story or create it. From having a short story land at the Ohio State Fair through his 4-H club in elementary school to studying to be a music teacher at Capital University, Jerod went off-script and began to explore a career in technology.
Cybersecurity is a young industry with people hungry for real-life experiences and mentorship, and it’s up to businesses to realize the value and provide opportunities. Committed to the industry and empowering growth of learners across the world, Jerod not only founded a consulting business, Brennen Consulting, but he also provides Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) advice to numerous organizations. Whether sharing stories through blogs, podcasts or courses, both domestically and internationally, his passion for creating a more diverse and inclusive industry is evident.
