Diversity – Equity – Inclusion

We are an empowering, inclusive workplace where diversity is valued and celebrated.

GBQ aims to empower people to reach their full potential, regardless of race, sexual orientation, religion, age, gender, disability or any other indication of diversity. By embracing our differences, we are pushed to grow, understand—and respect—one another. Because of this, we will always remain committed to being an inclusive workplace where diversity is valued and celebrated. It’s for this very reason GBQ created our Diversity and Inclusion initiative committed to nurturing an inclusive, safe and welcoming environment; empowering and supporting the professional and personal growth of under-represented groups; and be a catalyst for change within the community. We do this by:

Programs and Participation

  • Participate in the OSCPA STRIVE Mentorship Program, designed to address the lack of diversity, inclusion and equity in the accounting profession
  • Support the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. (NABA) by serving as regular speakers in Cincinnati, Columbus and Toledo
  • wGBQ, a professional development and networking group, formed in 2005 to enhance the recruitment, retention and advancement of women within the firm through community events, mentorship and teambuilding initiatives
  • Stonewall Columbus Pride Festival and Parade, Cincinnati Pride Parade and Toledo Pride Festival

''Since 1953, we’ve been building a firm that is about more than tax returns and financial statements. While our firm has changed in size and scope, what has not changed is our culture and the way we care for our 200+ associates who reflect the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of those we serve.''
