I said it (ok, wrote it) back in October when GBQ received their PCAOB Inspection Report and I’ll say it again: one of the great things about my job is that I get to brag about GBQ (a lot! #sorrynotsorry). Today, I am bragging about our recent Peer Review with a “pass” rating (that’s the highest you can get, in case you were wondering).
You can read more about the Peer Review here, but basically GBQ participates in the Peer Review Program, a practice monitoring program approved by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A firm participating in the Peer Review Program must have an independent review of its accounting and auditing practice every three years. GBQ’s review was performed by Baker Tilly, an independent CPA firm, who qualified under the program’s requirements for service as a reviewer.
I think Congratulations are in order. Go, GBQ!
