Owen joined GBQ in 2023 as a valuable addition to the Forensic & Dispute Advisory Services team within GBQ Consulting LLC. Owen’s extensive experience and expertise are instrumental in assessing the facts of each particular case and determining the best course of action. He utilizes his deep knowledge of business and enterprise appraisals and specialized industry insights to perform comprehensive financial analyses tailored to the specific circumstances of each case.

With over a decade of industry experience, he previously held the position of Principal at BW Arpeggio LLC Strategic Valuation & Advisory Services, where he specialized in business and enterprise appraisal, focusing on litigation support for various commercial disputes. He possesses in-depth knowledge of industries such as craft beverage companies, manufacturing, auto dealerships, and technology and has expertise in ASC 805 purchase price allocations and valuing complex securities. Previously, Owen supported Ernst & Young’s Transaction Advisory Services team, conducting financial due diligence for deals ranging from $100 million to $350 million, contributing to purchase price negotiations and deal structuring. He also gained valuable experience at MCM CPAs & Advisors, performing financial statement audits and business valuations.

Owen’s marine experience began with his enlistment as an Infantry Rifleman in the Marine Corps Reserve while attending college. After completing Marine Officer Candidate School with top honors and receiving the Gung Ho Award for teamwork and motivation, he served in Iraq’s Anbar Province, guarding a prison for insurgents and working on the Police Transition Team. Later, he co-led an artillery team and served as an intelligence analyst, delivering detailed briefings to high-ranking officers. Owen’s military background has shaped him into a disciplined and effective leader, and his experience will undoubtedly enhance his role in providing forensic and dispute advisory services.
