Ed possesses extensive expertise in successfully navigating the intricate landscape of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP – US), complemented by a robust understanding of the associated auditing standards. His expertise is particularly evident in public company engagements, where he navigates SEC regulations and compliance intricacies, aligning with standards set by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Ed’s commitment to upholding high standards in financial reporting is reflected in his successful management of audits for public companies. Additionally, he brings diverse finance consulting skills, including buy- and sell-side due diligence, SEC reporting, contract and pricing reviews, SOX internal controls assessments, and risk assessment for cost savings. Ed is also recognized for providing technical assistance on complex accounting issues for non-attest clients. His dedication extends to contributing to various industry niches and actively participating in the firm’s campus recruiting and staff development initiatives.
