GBQ is pleased to announce Steve Boston, CPA, CISA, has been promoted to Director within our information technology services practice.

Additionally, he has been an integral part of our maturing data analytics practice, contributing both energy and innovation,” said Doug Davidson, CISA, Director of Information Technology Services.
Steve began his public accounting career with GBQ in 2007. He provides financial and technology assurance and consulting services across many industries including software and technology, retail, restaurants, financial institutions and manufacturing. Steve performs system and organization control (SOC) examinations; data analytics, business intelligence and process automation engagements; and IT audits. Additionally, he specializes in complex financial data analysis, using his expertise with IDEA and Microsoft Power BI to assist with data analytics, business intelligence and other data-intensive projects. Steve serves as one of the firm’s internal champions of software systems and technology solutions and provides training to our associates on audit software and methodology.
