GBQ is proud to announce it has earned the recognition of being named a finalist in the large company category at the Columbus Business First Corporate Citizenship Awards Reception, an initiative aimed to recognize and celebrate the philanthropic spirit of central Ohio businesses.
Columbus Business First’s Corporate Citizenship award is part of a larger initiative to honor organizations that are working to improve the lives of local residents and the communities in which they reside. More than 150 Corporate Citizenship surveys were submitted by companies of all sizes in a wide variety of industries, disclosing information including dollars donated, in-kind contributions and the number of volunteer hours given to nonprofits. The program replaces the long-running Corporate Caring Awards, which honored companies’ philanthropic efforts through nominations and judged applications. GBQ is proud to have received a Corporate Caring Award in 2004 and 2014 in the category of “Human Services.” The firm was a finalist for the award in 2002-2003, 2005-2008, 2010-2013 and 2015-2017.
