Sara has over 20 years of experience in federal and state and local tax, servicing both public and private companies in the manufacturing, construction, healthcare, professional services and retail industries. At GBQ, Sara leads the firm’s state income/franchise tax services efforts. In this role, she coordinates the successful completion of all multistate income/franchise tax engagements. Sara focuses her expertise on managing state income tax compliance, Ohio Commercial Activity Tax (CAT) consulting, nexus studies, allocation/apportionment reviews and transactional planning. She also assists clients with municipal income taxes, employment taxes and credits, and mobile workforce tax matters.
