GBQ Partners LLC (GBQ) is pleased to announce the promotion of Kristin Romaker, CPA, to Director, Assurance & Business Advisory Services. Kristin is located in our Columbus office.

Kristin joined GBQ in 2018 with 12 years of experience in public and private accounting. As an audit team leader specializing in assurance engagements, she has been instrumental in empowering growth of various industries, such as restaurants, manufacturing and distribution, SEC registrants, real estate, and nonprofit organizations. Kristin has taken charge of the firm’s ASC 842 lease implementation efforts and is at the forefront of leading the Employee Benefit Plan practice, which conducts nearly 200 annual plan audits. Beyond her expertise in financial statement services, Kristin’s skill set extends to providing assurance services for internal controls, including SOX and CCAR compliance. Additionally, she has honed her expertise in ERISA and PCAOB audits, showcasing her versatility and comprehensive understanding of the accounting landscape.
As an extension of her commitment to GBQ and the industry, Kristin is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
