GBQ Partners LLC (GBQ) is pleased to announce the promotion of Kyle McKee, CPA, MBA, to Director, Transaction & Business Advisory Services. Kyle is located in our Columbus office.
A seasoned leader in public accounting, Kyle joined GBQ in 2019 with a proven track record of delivering value to his clients through the performance of financial due diligence services and expert consulting and leadership on the buy- and sell-side of M&A transactions. Kyle’s unique background in public accounting, combined with extensive business transformation experience, uniquely positions him to identify unique strategies and unconventional solutions to empower growth. In addition to supporting GBQ’s Financial Performance & Improvement Advisory and Assurance Services practices, Kyle empowers the firm’s internal growth efforts through process improvement and talent development initiatives.

A former United States Marine Corps Sergeant and graduate of The Ohio State University, Kyle launched his public accounting career at Ernst & Young, leading multi-industry audits, SEC reporting, and financial forecast development. He then pivoted to a position at NiSource, one of the country’s largest fully-regulated utility companies, where he supported its transformation and IT demand planning groups.
As an extension of his commitment to GBQ and the industry, Kyle is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
