GBQ is pleased to announce that Chris Mast, CPA, has joined the community of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals (CCIFP). Mast joins an exclusive group of roughly 1,000 professionals who have received this designation.
The CCIFP designation was established in 2003 by the Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals and demonstrates the commitment to the certification holder’s profession and the construction industry. To receive the CCIFP designation, Mast logged 4,000 hours of experience as an accounting services provider to the construction industry followed by successful completion of a 4.5 hour proctored examination.
Chris joined GBQ in 2011 after graduating from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL. As an Assurance Manager, Chris is responsible for the planning and performance of numerous assurance engagements serving construction, real estate, manufacturing and service industries, and is the leader of audit teams for many emerging companies. Additionally, he is part of the employee benefit plan audit group and has experience managing audits for defined contribution plans.
