GBQ Consulting LLC (GBQ) proudly announces the appointment of Rebekah Smith, CPA, CFF, CVA, MAFF, Director of Forensic & Dispute Advisory Services, to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) Foundation Forensic and Business Valuation Division. In this notable achievement, Rebekah becomes only the second business valuation professional from Ohio to join this esteemed division.

The F&BV Division of the AAML Foundation is an organization of forensic and business valuation experts who support the philanthropic efforts of the AAML Foundation. The AAML Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization designed to support the charitable mission of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers of protecting families, specifically children. Since its origination, the Foundation has provided financial assistance through grants to help families and children negatively impacted by the ending of the family unit, including support for physical, mental, or substance abuse, financial destruction, and abandonment.

Rebekah is a Director and Member of GBQ, focusing on litigation consulting, forensic accounting, economic damages, and business valuations. She has experience rendering services in litigation matters and has qualified to testify in court as an expert witness on business valuations, accounting and financial matters, economic damages, asset tracing, as well as many other matters. She has also served as a court-appointed expert.
