Long-time partner and Toledo-area business leader Gary Sartain announced that he will retire from the Firm effective May 14, 2021.
Gary joined GBQ in 2020 following the firm’s merger with Weber Clark, Ltd., where he worked providing audit and assurance services for 15 years. While we are pleased to share this news, we are also sad to say goodbye to a valued member of our leadership team for nearly two decades.
“Gary has made a significant impact on the assurance practice here in the Toledo office throughout the last 15 years,” Toledo Managing Director Bret Clark. “Drawing on his experience working with another CPA firm and the Auditor of State’s office, Gary helped build on our foundation of providing quality assurance services to our clients. Personally, he was always there to be a sounding board. We will miss Gary and wish him the best of luck in his retirement.”
Gary Sartain added, “I am looking forward to moving on to this next chapter of my life. I will miss all of the great people that I have had the privilege of working with, as well as the great clients I have had the opportunity to serve.”
