In case you missed it, Senate Bill 108 was passed by the Ohio General Assembly on May 17, 2021. Ohio bars and restaurants impacted by Covid-19 will be eligible for grants in the amounts of $10,000, $20,000, and $30,000, which comes from a $100,000,000 dedicated purpose fund group. Such grants shall be awarded based on factors such as demonstrated loss of revenue and the number of employees employed.
The Ohio Development Services Agency will be administering the program. Liquor permit holders who previously received grants in Ohio are eligible to receive this grant as well. The application process has not yet opened and timing has not been communicated.
Stay tuned as we learn more about this grant supporting Ohio restaurants and bars. Updates will be made to this article as more information is released.
